Nixit says, the guy is a born inventor. He is very clever and has an uncanny ability to quickly learn new technologies. However, I don't think he's abandoned his Z. He just gets so focused on his projects, other interests are pushed aside. Max D is correct, if he had a competent business manager, his productivity would probably jump expotentially. As to why he doesn't come on the forum and post more often; I think the answer is rather obvious. Every time he posts something here, he is bombarded with with questions about deliveries, accusations of poor business practices, criticism of past product performance, and sometimes just general mean spirited comments. Justified or not, his critics are staunch in their views and vocal in their expression. If I were him; I would make my visits here very judiciously as well.
